How to submit

The submission window is Sat 24 October to Mon 26 October 2026, closing at 5 pm IST. The link is emailed to your team's registered address.

Before you submit

Re-run your work on the second data file before you submit. It is the only file that reaches the close of 23 October.

What to submit

One file: a git bundle of your repository at the commit you want judged. The form also asks for your ticket number, the task or tasks you entered, and that commit hash.

Make the bundle with the kit's tool, run at the top of your repository:

python /path/to/commodity-open-kit/tools/submit.py --ticket CO-00XX --tasks 1

For both tasks, list both:

python /path/to/commodity-open-kit/tools/submit.py --ticket CO-00XX --tasks 1,2

The tool writes CO-00XX.bundle, verifies it, and confirms the commit is inside it. It prints the commit hash and the file's sha256.

Upload it

The form checks the file again on arrival and shows you a receipt. Nothing is submitted until you see that receipt.

The last upload before the close is the one that counts, so you can fix a mistake and upload again. An upload started before the close counts even if it finishes after it.

If it is refused

The form refuses these in words you can act on:

  • A commit that is not the one inside the bundle. Both hashes are shown.
  • A file that is not a git bundle. Git's own message is shown.
  • An upload that breaks. Upload again before the close.

What happens afterwards

The organizers re-run every submission from 27 October to 2 November, on sessions no team has seen. Calls with prize contenders follow in mid-November, then the verdicts.

This page covers handing your work in. The full rules are in RULES.md.
